Waking up a bit after eight is oh so much better than waking up around six or seven! After my breakfast I decided it was excursion time, you know, check out the hood.
I grabbed my fancy camera, my quality book and headed towards the train station, actually remembering to post my postcards in the way.
At the station I decided to let lady Destiny decide my day, and simply got on the first train arriving at the platform and get of at the next stop. It turned out that the next stop would have been where I go for books and WiFi, so I decided to head one further;
It has, like every little village (in lack for a better word) a cute little street with all the essential shops.
This included a salvation army shop with cheap books.
My next stop was MacLeod, a must for someone that has all season’s of McLeod’s daughter’s on DVD (and before you say anything I know it’s not the same place).
This was a really sleepy little place, I considered having a coffee for about 30 seconds them realized that I was rather hungry craving McDonald’s.
So I decided to go to my favorite mall for food and then continue my train journey in the other direction.
It was an accident I promise! To get back to the train from McDonald’s I had to walk through the mall, and this store had some really cute little hats in the window. I just had to look! The hats were too expensive, I thought, but the shoes. It’s really hard yo find these kind of shoes at home, and in this color. I didn’t really mean to.
And then they had an offer, if you purchased something you could buy this cute little bag for only $5, so…oops.
So now I’m sitting at Gloria Jean’s with my cappuccino and heavy bags, trying to decide if I’m going to continue my excursion or go grocery shopping and then home. Though choice!
