Down-under 2013

The day of the bubbles

Today I slept real late, didn’t wake up until nine o’clock, pretty awesome. Breakfast was the standard pieces of toast with a side of berry smoothie.

A while after me having my morning meal we went for a walk. Rather than walking down the street with shops as we did yesterday, today we walked ny the water and the weather was absolutely perfect for it.

Lunch was a simple chicken and potato dish.

Apparently in this household bubbles are oki, so finishing of the lunch we were all blowing milk bubbles. Can’t even remember when I did that last, super fun!

My afternoon then moved into perfect vacation mood.

Can’t really complain! My hostess came out from time to time with small offerings such as cold beer and ice-cream. I managed a few hours and completed yet another book.

When I lived in New Zealand I was a poor student, for special occasions we would go to a restaurant called Lone Star. For old times sake my hostess with family dide the amazing favour of going there with me.

I had an awesome Dixie chicken and a NZ beer called Speight. My tummy is now very full and very happy.
