A good breakfast was important this morning since it was time for team Sweden to get revenge after last week’s bowling loss.
I felt very ready and confident as we made our way to the bowling alley.
However, after the first series we were completely and totally even, so we just had to play one more. This is how happy I was at the end of that series;
Needless to say, I won! Big time! Totally got revenge with a whooping 159 vs 67.
After bowling and a baby nap, we headed into town for lunch and shopping. Not one to turn down a sushi lunch I got a surprise as we walked in as this specific place is a pick-and-mix kind of place.
It is also a take-away place and it was raining outside. We got lucky just around the corner where this dry bench was nicely installed.
Moving on after food my hostess took me to a very nice stationary shop and the only thing stopping me from buying most of the store, was limited luggage space.
No trip to town would be complete without a coffee, so we walked (and walked, and walked) to check out a new place that my hostess had read about. Hers looked cool.
Mine didn’t and it didn’t taste that great either, no fun really, and neither was the place.
Last stop before heading back home was to purchase two Victorinox knives. Small, sharp and real handy. I’ve been using my hostesses while here and figured I could bring a couple home (unless Ozzie customs take them of me, that is).
Since this is my last night in Wellington and New Zealand I cooked my host a farewell dinner of Swedish meatballs.
The evening is now being spent withe bemoaning the amount of stuff I have (trying to pack), worrying about Ozzie customs with some of the things I purchased and catching up on this week’s three episodes of My Kitchen Rules.
