The day started out comme-ci comme-ca with yet another early morning and a hotels inability to find a card machine and the ATMs lack of giving me money. Brekkie was like yesterday,
The day then picked up as our car picked us up for a ride to Hue with a first stop at the Marble Mountains, absolutely beautiful.
Second stop, an old bunker at the top of a mountain top that we came to on an amazingly beautiful road.
Third stop being a beach, beautiful (which you might have figured).
Then we arrived at Hue and after settling in at the hotel and doing some bank stuff we headed out for a place to eat lunch and the Emperial City. As I was crossing the street (at a zebra crossing) I was hit from the side, fell down and then being yelled at by the woman that hit me with her moped.
I’m quite proud of my reflexes as I jumped right back being completely focused on not being hit by other traffic.
In the place that we were aiming for the staff brought out band-aids for my cuts and bruises and a couple of American dudes sorted me out for beers. That means that I have once again managed to try the local beer.
The Queen herself continued the day without me as I went back to the hotel, feeling sorry for myself and spent the afternoon doing this.
Getting back into a fab mood ready to hit dinner, I was once again disappointed by Hue, fish and chips anyone (not really what I ordered)?
Tasted like mcnuggets!
Back at the hotel and ready to get out of this place tomorrow I’ve had a “I’ve had a not so fun experience so I miss my mummy” conversation with my mum. Fantastic what a baby one becomes when the booty hurts.
For those who can’t stand ghostly white bootys, stop reading now as here comes a selection of scrapes and bruises.
There’s a few things on my mind right now;
– It can only be better
– I really don’t wanna have to visit a hospital down here
– I’m happy I’m not in Europe right now
– Thank God for Hunger games on TV with my Pringles and Diet coke
