My secret project

A while back I mentioned a secret project that made me get up super early in the mornings. It also gave me problems when another car ran straight into the back of the car I was sitting in. Truth be told, I was driving that car because I’ve been practicing for my drivers test and this morning I passed!!

I’m now the proud holder of a driver’s license, it only took me until I was 36 and a half.

My fantastic collegue also thought that I should have some cars.

Soooooo much fun

The day started out nice, woke up before the alarm and hotel brekkie.

Had a good day at work before heading to the airport, onwards and upwards. The day was good until I arrived at the Capitol and realized that there wasn’t enough time between my flights, needless to say I missed my connection and the guy at the travel agent got an earful.

He booked me on the next flight out, departing two hours after the first. When I came to check in I was kindly informed that my new flight was delayed. So what to do?

Bye bye old bag, now replaced with a new and improved companion.

Eat overpriced dinner.

Sit down at Starbucks and work (and surprisingly receive some answers to your mails).

The plane has finally arrived and boarding should start at any moment now. It’s 9:30pm and I’m dead. I was supposed to enjoy another hotel room already. Oh well, soon!

Arriving north

After doing the required attendance in the office I headed to the usual hotel, and this time I hit the room jackpot!

Unfortunately I didn’t have that much time to enjoy the fancy room as I had to make time for a waffle before heading to my massage.

This is the same hotel as I’ve stayed in the last couple of times north, so as usual there was dinner downstairs. Didn’t take any pictures though…I’m sure you’ll live. I did take a picture of my evening  work company.

After a long nice bath (why does hotel shampoo always smell like man?) I’m ready to hit the sack. Need to be prepared for the fun day tomorrow.

Heading north

The lesson learned today is not to let the taxi app calculate the time of departure. I put in when I needed to be in the airport and arrived 30 minutes early. Help! Between 5 and 6 in the morning, every minute of sleep counts.

I’m also traveling without the boss this time and since I still haven’t earned the right to the lounge I had to get my own coffee. At least they could have pretty cups.

I can honestly say that the only reason I’m blogging right now is to stay awake. Even if I do miss blogging there’s just no energy for it right now. Maybe when the apartment is done (which it should be this week).

A Saturday without plans

Passed out on the couch last night and woke up early this morning. No offense to Mr Grumpy II, however his couch isn’t as nice to spend a whole Saturday on as mine so I left. Starting with breakfast, something I heard is the most important meal of the day.

I then realized how expensive my life would be if I didn’t fill it with things to do, as I did some almost shopping (good thing I didn’t as I found discount coupons in the mail when home later in the day, so might do actual shopping tomorrow).

After not shopping for a little while longer I sat down with a coffee and a book.

The book is so good and the chair was so comfortable that three hours later I was still sitting there. The tummy started to make funny noices, seemingly wanting more food even though it got breakfast. After a lame attempt to find dinner companions I decided to just go by myself. That way I could keep reading my book.

After checking out my kitchen (soon done then you’ll get to see it) I ended up where one always seem to end up, on the corner.

Sitting here, I’m now trying to make up my mind; the movies and Bridget Jones baby or via the grocery store and pig out on the couch.

Sushi night with Latte Mum

One of my favorite time of the month is my sushi nights with Latte Mum. She has no problem putting up with my constant jabbering about how much it is right now. It’s always too much because I always manage to plan it that way…

This time it was Lund and a new place to try. We where first as usual (that’s what happens when you meet for dinner at 5) and thus rather good service.

By the time I gulped down the rather strange miso soup and a couple of tastes of the wine my shoulders came down a little bit. And after polishing of this plate of salmon goodness I was cool and relaxed.

Everyone should have their own Latte Mum, she’s magic for my mood 🙂 now I’m ready for a relaxing weekend without any musts.

All I do is eat

Getting up at 7am to be somewhere at 8am is totally killing my groove. Still, I can be like a proper famous blogger and tell you that I’m working on a project that I can’t tell you anything about, and it’s totally killing my groove. I get up, end up at work, eat lunch…

Has totally fallen for this Apple and bacon salad from Salads & Smoothies (or is it the other way around?

Then I work some more, eat fruit, snacks and drink way too much coffee and not enough water (even if I try to remember by putting it in my calendar).

Today after work I went straight to the gym, and a proper blogger would’ve taken awesome toilet selfies in gym clothes instead I have a pic of the chocolate I picked up on my way home from the gym. You can see my yoga pants in the background.

Even though I now know that my mum can handle the angry like on Facebook, this wasn’t, as I might have said, my dinner for the evening. Instead I spent hours slaving in the kitchen making fresh pasta.

Hahahah, no! I bought that in the same store as the chocolate, together with one more pack that I can have for dinner tomorrow. I miss my own home 😦

Well, 10:30pm and I’m totally hitting the sack. Another long and crazy day tomorrow with morning plans, workshop at work, afternoon plans and I believe, a great longing for vacation…

Peace out ma peeps.
