Where did I go?

Last we met was the first of September when I was up north visiting, today it’s the second of October and in some way a whole month has passed…

So where did I go?

Well, I made it back south for more early mornings, eat yum snacks, do mani-pedi with Lady T before she got married, done the #lunchchronicles, spent loads and loads of money at Espresso house, received another glossybox, cooked some food, accidentally bought some books at a book sale, sold some furniture, done some therapy shopping, been at a castle with work, dipped my feet in the ocean in September, enjoyed some Phish food, had a housewarming at work, had my first beer since quitting smoking, went for a breakfast lecture, had a friday date with my oldest niece, got french candy from mummy, ran 10k with the sister, ate niece’s birthday dinner outdoors, used a sowing machine for the first time in years, spent time on trains, packed up my home, started the renovation of my home, moved to the neighbours couch, got my new teeth, sorted a new passport to get ready for vacation, enjoyed luncheons with former colleagues, drinking wine in the warmth, drank more coffee from Espresso house, attempted and failed on doing 22 push-ups a day, been home sick from work, hung out with a larger than normal miss Legal, planning surprises for people, finally gotten around to do flea market, visited some hotels in the area, seen the ice at the arena up close, finally met up with the book circle, seen what’s under the floorboards at my place, enjoyed the yearly Gotham book fair and bought loads more of fun books, surprising and celebrating oldest aunty turning 60, spending more time on trains and more money on coffee from Espresso house, become a Gold member at the movies, been standing like two meters from Peter Jöback, received the hotel room with additional support, learned to appreciate new fast trains after four hours on an old type train, seen the arrival of fall, listen to an interesting talk from Ronald McDonald house in Gotham, eaten at the craziest Thai place outside of Thailand, seen the new Jason Bourne movie, been smoke free for two months, bought a new jacket as a reward for not smoking for two months, celebrating plastic uncle turning 70, trying to dye my hair caramel blond and failed, celebrate my mother turning young, and that bring us to today.

Happy Birthday mummy!

Silly me, I thought it would be red

After my chill morning I took a slow walk to work with my left over coffee. Can’t say that the day was filled with fun and joy and when it was time for lunch my poor hormonal, nicotine monster of a booty had burger cravings out of this world. Lucky me my colleagues where willing to oblige me and I got to enjoy a yum yum Surf Shack burger for lunch. img_20160824_121928.jpg

The afternoon continued the same way the day started so I was happy about getting out of work at such time that I could pick up my bike – no longer with a flat tyre, yey.dsc_0146.jpg

Today was to be a day of rest from working out, I mean, the booty is happy with all the running and exercise still it need time off as well.

I wasn’t able to stay at home so I went to the ever so nice Åhlens with their fab opening hours and large selection of things I want but do not need. It’s a good distraction and today I manged to get out of there with only things I needed when I went in, that is a big feat. Then on my way back home, I managed another fantastic feat when I entered the nice little grocery store for a salad dinner and came out of there with salad and beer sticks, only!!!dsc_0151.jpg

With no working out or running, I still felt restless so I figured it was time for the fall fur even if summer is back visiting. And because my hair has grown so much since the last bleach that it’s starting to look bad and I’m so just sick of the bleach. It burns and itches so time for a break.

Here are some before, during and after pictures (and I know I need to practise my selfie skills, I hope you forgive me).20160824_215010.jpgdsc_0156.jpgdsc_0162.jpg

This is what the box looks like, so I kind of thought that the dye would give me a tad bit more towards the reddish side…I guess I was wrong. Or maybe it will shine, shimmer and glisten in red when I walk out in the sun tomorrow, I will check and revert.

Oops I did it again, again!

After BBQ’s both Friday and Saturday night, I was quite tired this morning and was planning to spend the whole day doing nothing really. Then my friend messaged me and asked if I was up for a coffee and I figured why not. After the coffee we just took a quick tour in town checking out some of the shops and then it happened.Bag

I found a pair of shoes, real nice ones and quite comfortable, and they were on sale. Miss T is not the best person to go shopping with as she always tell me to buy, and she did that today to. I came home with these babies;Shoes Shoes (2)

Nothing beats shopping therapy!

For you that are on a safe distance from Scandinavia I can tell you that it is right now a very cold, rainy and dreary place. If you add on to that the fact that you think you bombed the job interview and some other stuff, you realize that shopping therapy is in order.

No, I didn’t go to H&M, I said I wouldn’t so I didn’t! No, it is not a new bag, even though I always need one of those. This time it is something very season oriented and absolutely required for the coming trip to Norway.
